Johnson Hardwood Internet Sales Policy

At Johnson Premium Hardwood Flooring, we are committed to manufacturing the finest hardwood flooring selections available. We believe consumers should utilize every resource available to assist with their selection of Johnson Hardwood products. Both Johnson Hardwood, and our authorized dealers who have Johnson products on display, significantly invest in samples and other merchandising tools so that consumers get a realistic look at the hardwood floor before making a purchase. This selection process simply cannot be done over the Internet. We also place a high value in the ability of a local retailer to offer installation services for our floors.

Therefore, we strongly recommend making your flooring purchases at dealers who have Johnson Hardwood products on display in their showrooms, rather than through the Internet, with an online retailer. Hardwood flooring is a significant investment, and our experience shows that a consumer can receive a higher value of service through a local flooring retailer.

However, we at Johnson Hardwood understand that many flooring dealers promote their retail stores through websites; for this we have established the following parameters for anyone displaying our products on-line:

Any Johnson Hardwood flooring products that are bought through an internet website will not be covered under the Johnson Premium Hardwood Flooring 35-year Residential nor 50-year Commercial (for applicable products) warranty. Johnson Hardwood flooring products purchased through an internet website automatically voids all warranty coverage.

  1. We require that an on-line retailer maintain a traditional showroom to display our products.  Many of our products have unique color tones/ranges, and we do not feel that website pictures are sufficient for product selections.

  2. Flooring prices are not to be listed on any websites. The terminology “ Contact Us For Pricing” is the only acceptable verbiage.

  3. We will only ship to a retailer’s physical location. Dealers will not be allowed to arrange for their own shipping.

  4. Should there be a suspected product warranty claim resulting from an on-line sale; the retailer is responsible for inspection costs from an approved NWFA inspector.

We reserve the right to refuse to sell to any retailer not adhering to the above parameters.
